Spin Cycle

Spin Cycle

Last night – I posted holding my breath for fear of jinxing myself. When will I learn? I have hit the spin cycle. Last night I had very little sleep for various reasons. The day was high stress. I felt it coming on around 9 a.m. The fingers were going numb. The allydonia had begun. Spasms in the back – around the shoulder blades. Mind was starting to spin. I talked to a friend – he asked me if there was something I could take to stop or slow it up. I said I need sleep and I normally take stuff for sleep or pain usually after being 3-4 days into the flare. His answer was simple. Why wait? The only reason I could come up with was that I wanted to fight it without meds. His next response.. as simple as the first. Why? If you could help it from getting to the extreme point why not try now.
After that simple but wise advice – I took a tramadol. It did keep my pain from increasing. The fog has begin to increase along with the numbing of the hands.
I just set here staring at the post.. trying to think of what I was thinking.
I have entered the “spin cycle”. I had not thought of it before in that manner. My …
ha.. It’s gone. mind spinning, fingers numb.. and it’s gone.
Guess I’ll be back with the spin cycle stops.
