Saving some spoons!

Saving some spoons!

I generally buy all my groceries from Wal-Mart due to the fact that I try and buy a month of groceries at once and the low prices. I have noticed that shopping is becoming harder for me to do. I NEED to have a cart to hold onto myself and my purse as I walk around the store. But… then… the cart gets so heavy for me at the end that I have began to have sharp pains.
Also, I have had to stop carrying my purse around when I shop and carry a wallet instead. (It does give me a good excuse to have to look for another small purse).
Our local grocery store just started online shopping. The groceries are packed for you – you set the time of pick up, drive up to the curb and they help load them into your vehicle.
The first time it is free. Each time after that there is a $4.95 charge.
The part that bothers me the most is that at my age – this actually is something that I need to check out.
The simple task that took me under an hour before my health issues now not only takes me over an hour but it costs me so much more time than just the shopping.
After shopping – and putting away the groceries – I have to sit, ice my hip and lower back and rest. I am usually exhausted and in pain.
I am going to “spoil” myself and use this service. I am going online and creating my shopping list. If the prices are comparable…

I am going to ……. Save some Spoons!
