Certified Fibromyalgia Advisor

As a Fibromyalgia Advisor, I create a supportive environment that will enable you to reduce your pain and fatigue, while increasing your energy and sleep. I understand what it’s like to live with fibromyalgia and use practical lifestyle coaching methods to guide you in discovering which approaches and treatment options will work best for you.

  • have you struggled to find someone who understands?
  • are you looking for fibro-friendly doctors and providers?
  • do you want to take back control of your life and health — but have no idea where to start?
  • do you want someone who has been there to guide you through this life-changing process?

Most advisors and providers don’t understand what it’s like to live with fibromyalgia every day. I do. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and telling you what you can and can’t do, I help my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline. In fact, one of your first assignments from me will probably be to add more joy to your life!

There is no magic bullet for fibromyalgia. No one treatment works for everyone. I will guide you to find the treatment options and lifestyle choices that best support you and your lifestyle. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.

Today could be the beginning of an incredible, life-altering journey for you.  How exciting is that?!  I’d love to stand beside you on your journey.

Melissa is friendly, outgoing, kind, and caring. She is a wonderful advocate for those with fibromyalgia and many of it’s “evil sidekicks”. The fact that she lives with fibromyalgia herself gives her a leg up in advising those with the same diagnosis. She is confident but still made me feel as though I was an equal participant in the session – including finding my own answer through questioning and prompting. Melissa is an excellent Advisor to work with to help you with any fibromyalgia or chronic pain related issues you might have. — Kate
